Use either the qualitative or quantitative directions below depending on your topic. Hint: Review relevant literature and theories that provide a foundation for understanding the problem
Qualitative Topics
Restate the problem statement and the phenomenon for your proposed topic.
State the research questions and defend how these questions address the problem statement and phenomenon identified in the problem statement. How might the answers to these research questions inform the problem space?
Outline the key concepts or constructs included in the theoretical foundation or conceptual framework.
Explain how the theory(ies) or conceptual framework guide the research topic identified from the problem space.
Defend why this theoretical foundation or conceptual framework was selected over other alternatives.
Clarify the relationships or connections between these components and how they contribute to understanding the research phenomenon.
